Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Responsio ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and Platform located at https://responsio.app and https://*.responsio.app.

This Cookie Policy supplements our main Privacy Policy, which provides complete details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, as well as information regarding your legal rights under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR).

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device by websites that you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide secure authentication, and remember your preferences.

2. How We Use Cookies

We believe in privacy by design. Responsio uses a minimalistic approach to cookies. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or marketing cookies. We only set first-party cookies necessary for authentication and session management.

3. List of Cookies We Set

Below is the complete list of cookies used within the Responsio application:

  1. Name: session
    Type: Strictly Necessary
Duration: Session (Deleted when you close your browser)
Purpose: Used to securely maintain your active login session as you navigate through the Platform. Without this cookie, the application cannot keep you logged in.
  2. Name: remember_me
    Type: Functionality / Preference
Duration: Persistent (Stored until expiry or manual deletion)
Purpose: It securely stores your preference so you do not have to re-enter your credentials every time you return to the Platform.

4. Third-Party Cookies and Widgets

The embedded Responsio Widget installed on our Clients' websites does not set third-party tracking or advertising cookies on End-Users' devices. All feedback submissions are authenticated directly via secure API parameters provided by the Client integration.

5. Managing and Disabling Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your web browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or disable cookies.

Please note that because the session cookie is strictly necessary for the core functionality of Responsio, disabling or blocking cookies in your browser will prevent you from logging into your account.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technical requirements or legal obligations. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
